Privacy

DiagnifyHQ is built as a first-party service with conservative analytics and no external analytics scripts.

Analytics

DiagnifyHQ currently does not use Google Analytics, Plausible, Vercel Analytics, Cloudflare Analytics, or other external analytics scripts. Site analytics are first-party and are intended to measure basic aggregate activity, not identify individual people. If external analytics are added later, this privacy page should be updated to describe the provider, purpose, and data collected.

Analytics should only store limited, normalized diagnostic information such as OBD or diagnostic code counters and conservative vehicle year/make/model values when available. DiagnifyHQ is not designed to store raw symptoms, repair notes, recent changes, diagnosis text, raw vehicle text, VINs, plates, names, emails, phone numbers, addresses, or other personal information in analytics.

AI processing

Diagnostic text you submit may be sent to the AI provider only to generate the requested diagnostic report. Do not use DiagnifyHQ to submit VINs, license plates, names, emails, phone numbers, addresses, or other personal information.

To make an identical follow-up request faster and reduce repeated AI processing, DiagnifyHQ may keep encrypted generated diagnosis and personalization results for up to 30 days. Submitted symptoms, scanner notes, and repair context are not written into cache keys; keyed fingerprints are used to find an exact matching entry. This cache is separate from analytics and expires automatically.

No perfect anonymity claim

DiagnifyHQ minimizes what it collects and displays, but it does not claim perfect anonymity. Requests may be processed by infrastructure providers and the AI provider as needed to operate the service and generate reports.

Your choices

If you do not want a detail processed, do not enter it. You can usually get a useful first-pass report with the vehicle year/make/model, diagnostic codes, symptoms, mileage, and scanner context without entering personal information.
